Notes:
1.“Ya/ja:/”,“ye/je/”and “eh/e/”are just auxiliary words which have no practical meaning. They are used to add a syllable to match the melody.
2.“Zheng month” refers to the first month of the lunar year in China, which usually falls in February in the current Gregorian calendar. If foreigners dont like this translation, they can use a similar expression “Which flower blooms in springtime?” to replace “Which flower blooms in the zheng month,ya?”
3.Kowtow:a polite way to show much respect to somebody in authority.2.我在閬中等你
