本文是2010年教育部公布的全國第一,全文共兩段、六句、97詞。首段共四句,是“總—分”結構。首句是主題句,表明寫作目的:為關於全球化的國際會議招募誌願者,使用了被動語態、介詞短語作狀語、介詞短語作定語以及不定式短語放在名詞後麵作定語且表示將來時。第二至四句點出三點要求:熟悉會議主題且精通英語、溝通能力強並熟悉本市景點及曆史、有相關經驗。第二句出現了“主—係—表”結構、並列結構。第三句運用了平行排比結構、介詞短語放在名詞後麵作定語。第四句出現了一般將來時、被動語態、並列結構。本段依次使用了tobe held, on this campus, basic requirements, familarity with, theme, proficiency ofEnglish, interpersonal communication ability, in terms of, touristattraction, proper manners, sense ofresponsibility, priority, preference, experienced, similar activities等精彩表達。

A Hot Pot of Cultures, both Delicious and Nutritious
In the picture above is a large hot pot. But different from the traditionalChinese hot pot, in which you see beef or lamb, luncheon meat, mushrooms, and avariety of vegetables, in this hot pot are various "cultural foodstuffs" of bothChinese and foreign origins:Confucius, Aristotle, and Shakespeare; Taoism, Greekmythology, etc.
What lies behind the picture, or "buried" in the hot pot, is clear: for theconstruction of the Chinese culture and the future, materials of both Chineseand foreign features are indispensable.
We are living in an age when economic globalization is not only heard over themedia but also seen and felt in the reality of our daily life. No nation orcountry can maintain its well-being by living on and by itself. The history ofChina in the last half of the 20th century has provided a whole pack of vividand convincing experiences, both of successes and failures, in thatconsideration. Only from the various and varied sources of the other nations,together that of with our own, can we obtain sufficient nutriments for theChinese culture worth her pride and her leadership in the present and the futureworld. 本文是2010年教育部公布的全國第一,共三段、七句、197詞。首段為圖畫描述段,共兩句,是“總—分”結構。首句是總體描述,點出了圖畫中的主要事物——火鍋,使用了倒裝句和“主—係—表”結構。尾句是細節描述,挖掘出本圖的細節並串聯成句,出現了介詞短語放在句首作狀語、非限定性製語從句、平行排比、倒裝句、“主—係—表”結構、介詞短語放在名詞後麵作定語等語法現象。該段依次運用了hotpot, traditional, beef, lamb, luncheonmeat, mushroom, vegetable, foodstuff, origin, Confucius, Aristotle, Shakespeare, Taoism, Greekmythology等精彩詞彙。需要注意的是,本文雖然寫了標題,但是為減少錯誤,考生在寫作時不寫標題亦可。值得借鑒的是,本文作者具體描述圖畫時隻用了三個相關詞彙:Confucius,Shakespeare與Taoism,同時活學活用了大量各式火鍋食物的表達,展示了自己的詞彙量與英文功底。美中不足的是,圖中並未出現Aristotle(亞裏士多德)與Greekmythology(希臘神話),應該刪去。
第二段為意義闡釋段,共一句,既是該段主題句,亦是全文中心思想,點出圖畫的象征寓意:文化融合。該句運用了主語從句、並列結構、“主—係—表”結構、介詞短語作狀語、介詞短語放在名詞後麵作定語。該句依次使用了liebehind,buried,construction,material,feature,indispensable等精彩表達。美中不足的是,該段隻有一句,略顯單薄,如能充分展開陳述圖畫的象征寓意則更好。

值得學習的是,該文在表達“營養”這一含義時,在題目中使用了形容詞nutritious,而在第三段尾句則使用了名詞nutriment進行同義替換。而在表達“很多”這一含義時,本文首段尾句出現了avariety of和various,而在尾段最後兩句則使用了a whole pack of和varied進行同義替換。
