據譚天所說,他並非此間咖啡吧的老板,而是夥計。正牌老板經常神龍見首不見尾,店裏的生意基本上交給他和另外兩位夥計打理。這座創意園看似清閑,客源卻不少,而且大部分是白領階層。近期為響應客人的要求,他和老板商量著請一位歌者每晚來咖啡吧駐唱。
我問他:“你們聘人有什麼特別要求嗎?”
譚天笑道:“隻要能唱,而且讓我聽了覺得好聽,就OK了。”
我欣喜道:“太好了!我隻會唱歌,不會樂器。”
“那沒關係,我本人擅長吉他,鍵盤手、鼓手和BASS另外請了人。”
“哦……”我似懂非懂地點了點頭。
“你們快隨我上樓吧。”他說著領先朝樓上走去。
二樓的半圓形舞台上幾個青年正在調整樂器,尚未到上下班高峰期,台下隻零星地坐了幾位客人。譚天拍拍手掌,向台上諸位引見了我。我機械性地與他們一一握了手,心裏越來越沒譜。許曉仿佛看穿了我的心事,從身後拍了拍我的肩膀,無聲地說了句“加油”。我回頭看看他,不知哪來的勇氣,毅然走向了舞台中央。
手拿麥克風,我隨口報了個歌名,聲音仍有些顫抖。稍候,前奏響起,我閉上雙眼:
