The tiger was angry to hear that，and he scolded the fox for his craziness。He wanted to vent his anger by biting him to death，but he failed to do so，because he disliked the terrible odor from under his tail。
The fox then said，“My old brother tiger，believe it or not，you can just follow me and wait and see，if the beasts do not fear me，I'll be willing to receive your punishment。”With these words the fox stepped forward，the tiger had to follow him。
The tiger wanted to find out what the devil it was all about，so he followed the fox step by step。As a matter of fact，as soon as they saw them，fearfully the beasts ran away as fast as their feet could carry them。The tiger could do nothing but believe the fox。
Indeed he had the greatest might。Alas，how could he know the fox actually was taking advantage of the tiger's own power。What the beasts really feared was the tiger and not the fox at all！
This story turned out to be an idiom，referring to those who have less power but cunningly borrows other's to threaten others。
