Abstract："The Return of the Urban Memories of Xiang River"has provided a great opportunity to blend the Xiang River into urban life————enable the city to embrace Xiang River，and Xiang River to embrace the city.The project takes the concept of ecological restoration，cultural heritage，vitality—boosting as its design purpose，creates people—oriented space and facilities，through building a spare space of Xiang River considering its local condition，so as to make an urban waterfront landscape belt of "recall people's memories"for Zhuzhou people.

回歸的啟程——從湘江風光帶整治出發
湘江，是株洲的一個脈絡，城市與湘江是一個互生的關係，相互作用又相互交融。讓湘江母親河回歸自然、回歸家園、回歸生活，這是每一個株洲人長久以來的夢。風光帶的建設正是沿著這個夢想和脈絡進行的以山、水、橋、城和植物群落為元素，營造一處湘江裏生長出來的大地自然生態景觀；利用自然與人文有機交融，創造一個詩意的公共活動空間。
回歸的征程——人性、自然、家園、文化的回歸
活力，是市民的生活追求。
湘江風光帶的一個中心理念就是營造多樣功能場所，將市民的休閑活動引入城市濱水空間，為株洲市民提供豐富多彩的公共活動場所，實現人性的回歸。
生態，是株洲的一個中心詞。
湘江風光帶自然要圍繞生態而建，即保留多元的生態風光。利用多樣灘地形式，根據群落自身特色，形成隨江水及大自然生長的低養護、生態型、自我演替的“綠色江灘”，實現自然的回歸。
水岸，是人們記憶凝留的場所。
設計認真分析湘江現有的環境資源和水文科學，巧妙利用原有水利防洪設施，通過滿足各級標高的特色界麵形式，在保證水利安全的前提下柔化了原有生硬的防洪岸線，豐富了城市的濱水空間，實現家園的回歸。
文化，是城市的靈魂。
株洲深厚的文化底蘊反映出株洲獨特的城市魅力，設計通過不同的景觀元素，生動展現了株洲的神農文化、工業文明、動力之都等文化精髓，實現文化的回歸。
回歸的裏程碑——讓夢想回歸現實
用曆史感悟未來湘江風光帶的建設有效改善了株洲市的城市環境，提升了濱水空間品質，帶動了土地資源的增值，取得了景觀效益、經濟效益和社會效益三贏的良好局麵，在全國產生了強烈的反響。
她成為人們可以在清晨跑步、黃昏漫步、午夜沉思的家；成為人們生活的一部分，也是人與城市發生情感，留下記憶軌跡的地方。
Zhuzhou section's ecological treatment and flood control project of Xiang River (named as Xiang River's scenic belt in Zhuzhou)locates along the bank of Xiang River in Zhouzhu's downtown.The riverside bicycle lane，which runs through the whole avenue，connects every platform with squares and activity facilities，thus forming a continuous，natural and abundant riverside scenic belt.When the project was built，it attracted great attentions from the whole society，becoming one of the important livelihood projects in 2010“three battles”in Zhuzhou and the representative project of the construction of modern industrial civilization and livable city in Zhuzhou.
