1. bask in sth. 沐浴(沉湎)於某事物之中
to enjoy or revel in sth., such as praise, fame, etc.
(alludes to a person or animal resting in the warming rays of the sun)
e.g. Alice enjoyed basking in her newfound fame.
2. Cold hands, warm heart. 手冷心腸熱。
People whose hands are usually cold have kind and loving personalities.
e.g. Nancy: I don’t like holding hands with Joe. His hands are so cold.
Jane: Cold hands, warm heart.
3. sleep tight 睡個好覺
to sleep warm and safe (usually said with “good night” when sb. goes to bed)
e.g. Sleep tight, Bobby. See you in the morning.
4. as snug as a bug in a rug 非常舒適地,極其安逸地
wrapped up tight, warm, and comfortable (playful; often used when addressing a child)
e.g. The bedroom in Aunt Jane’s house was cold, but after she wrapped me up in four or five quilts and put a stocking cap on my head, I was snug as a bug in a rug and ready for bed.

to warm up from being frozen
e.g. How long will it take for the chicken to thaw out? I’m hungry.
6. warm sb. up 熱身
to help sb. get physically prepared to perform in an athletic or artistic event(as in exercising or loosening up sb’s muscles)
e.g. The referee told the coach to warm his team up so the game could begin.
