古時候有個人很會釀酒，
家裏卻養了條厲害的狗。
每逢有客人提壺來打酒，
那凶惡的狗就攔在門口，
齜牙咧嘴樣子實在嚇人，
咬不到人它就狂叫不休，
顧客大都見了惡狗就走，
這樣隻能賣掉很少的酒。
酒雖好由於賣掉的不多，
時間久就變得又酸又臭。
這說明險惡的環境會使人望而卻步，
賣酒人應把這教訓接受。
幹事業做生意有相通之處，
要盡量為後來者把障礙掃除。
The Dog Bites，The Wine Sours
Once there was a man who brewed good wine，but he raised a very vicious dog at home。When a customer came with a bottle to buy the wine，the vicious dog would bark furiously to hinder their entrance。The way it showed its biting teeth was quite fearful。If it couldn't bite it would bark furiously。When the customers saw this they ran away。So the wine he sold was only a small amount。His wine was good but he sold little。By and by the wine went sour。
This means that bad circumstances will make people withdraw。It is a lesson the wine brewer should learn，whether for work or business it is the same idea。One should try his best to pave the way for his customers。
