7.expertise 優勢。本意是“專門知識、專業技術”。與之意義相近的詞語還有 advantage, strength，都表示“優勢，優點”的意思。
8.poach竊取人才。比如：She tried to poach him from his company. 她試圖把他從他的公司挖走。它的本意為“偷獵”：The hunters poach animals in the forbidden area. 獵人在禁區內偷獵。
9.raid 搶劫。此處為誇張的用法。除此之外，raid 還有“突然襲擊、突擊搜查”的意思。比如：The police raided the entire building at ten this morning. 警察今天早上十點時候搜查了這整棟大樓。

13.qualified 合格的。它就相當於前麵提到的 competent 能勝任的。比如：I am not sure if I am not qualified to handle the job. 我不確定我是否有能力做這個工作。就等於：I am not sure if I am competent for this job.
14.reap the benefits 獲得益處。比如：You will soon reap the benefits of keeping fit. 你很快就能獲得保持健康帶來的好處。reap動詞，是“收獲”的意思。比如：reap the fruits of hard work收獲勞動成果。我們中文中說的成語“坐享其成”，叫做reap its rewards.
15.score 找到。score 本意是“分數；進球；二十”的意思，在口語中score something 意思就是得到、贏得某物，比如：I scored a great painting in the flea market this Saturday. 我這周六在跳蚤市場上找到了一副很棒的畫兒。
16.high-grade 高級的，優質的。就相當於 high-quality 高質量的。除此之外，high-quality 還可以表示“關係融洽的”，比如：She enjoyed a high-quality relationship with her students. 她和她的學生們關係十分融洽。
