夜珩交代了公司所有的事情，自己獨自帶白櫟出國了。
米國，夜珩帶白櫟先在酒店休息了一晚。
“夜珩，你要做好心理準備，如果我真的……”

第二天一早，夜珩就聯係了露蓮娜所說的醫生，先是讓他來酒店給白櫟初步診斷病情。
醫生是個白白胖胖的中年人，叫克雷布德，他在用現有的設備檢查了白櫟的眼睛、手、腿之後，轉身告訴夜珩。

夜珩帶著白櫟跟著克雷布德來到他所在的醫院，夜珩先是掛號然後辦了住院手續，最後跟著克雷布德去做檢查。

一番檢查下來，兩人又來到克雷布德的辦公室，看著拍出來的片子
