Short-term—willgeneratemorerevenuethisyear

Medium-term—twotofiveyearsout

Long-term—fiveyearsormore

■Setprioritiesforalloftheshort-term,medium-termandlong-termprojectsinthebudget.

■Spreadcosts—thecostsassociatedwitheachgrowthprojectarethenbrokendownonaquarter-by-quarterbasis.Theprojectedcostsmaybeallocatedtocostcentersorbusinessfunctionslikeresearch,productdevelopment,trials,pilotproduction,marketing,advertising,etc.

Thegrowthbudgetcanthenbeconvertedintoanactionlistbyidentifyingwhichpeoplewillbeassignedtospecifickeycomponentsofthegrowthprojects,whattheiraccountabilitieswillbe,howoftentheywillbereviewedandsoforth.
