1. in the nick of time 及時
Just in time
e.g. The meeting was moved to earlier in the day, but Jesse arrived in the nick of time.
2. Time is of the essence. 沒時間了。
There’s not much time left to do sth., time is running out.
e.g. Come on Rob! The report is due this afternoon, so time is of the essence.
3. Time is on sb.’s side. 某人還有大把時間。
No need to hurry, there’s plenty of time.
e.g. The Tigers were losing 2-0, but it was still early, so they knew time was on their side.
