in june, 2004 i finished the manuscript of mini-short stories—notes of a university's political and ideological assistant. at first i only took it as mere amusement. to my joy and satisfaction, once n to my friends and colleagues, it gained so many compliments and encouragements. after the publication of part of my manuscripts, these short stories aroused a considerable recuperation so that the greetings from my friends who knew the manuscripts turned into: "have you got the stories published?" under the care and urge of my colleagues and friends, i finally determined to publish these stories in bilingual form as a way to dedicate my most sincere appreciation to those who have contributed their concern to this book.
